Arts Carleton Place HUGE Spring Fine Art Exhibition (français ci-dessous)
Carleton Place, March 10th, 2023 — Arts Carleton Place (ACP) presents its Juried Spring Fine Art Exhibition with over 75 professional artists and artisans from Trois-Rivières to Témiscamingue, Ottawa Valley from Perth to Fitzroy Harbour.
The exhibition will be presented May 6th and 7th from 10 am to 4:30 pm at the Carleton Place arena with free admission and free parking. ACP invites you to support local artists in one of the largest exhibitions in the region.
A total of 76 internationally acclaimed and locally recognized artists will be presenting their new artworks and photographs.
New this year, the ACP has invited artists to put on live demos to showcase how they work. Live demonstrations from watercolour on regular and synthetic paper, batik art, mixed media, to paper flowers, indigenous drum making, working silver clay, light sculptures, making glass beads and the making of stained-glass art, will be ongoing during the weekend. In addition to supporting local art programs, ACP also supports both of Carleton Place high schools’ art programs by showcasing their work and providing a generous Bursary Program allowing a graduate from each school to receive $1800 to pursue studies in the field of Arts.
ACP wishes to thank the Town of Carleton Place for their ongoing support and the Comfort Inn who is welcoming its out-of-town artists.
Arts Carleton Place is a not-for-profit organization representing OVER 150 members. ACP was officially launched the fall of 2005. Its mandate is to recognize, celebrate and promote the unique artistic activities in the area. It also develops partnerships within the community to strengthen the area’s artistic capacity to help it reach its full potential.

Arts Carleton Place ÉNORME exposition printanière des beaux-arts
Carleton Place, le 10 mars 2023 — Arts Carleton Place (ACP) présente son exposition de beaux-arts du printemps avec plus de 75 artistes et artisans professionnels de Trois-Rivières au Témiscamingue, de la vallée de l’Outaouais de Perth à Fitzroy Harbour.
L’exposition sera présentée les 6 et 7 mai de 10 h à 16 h 30 à l’aréna de Carleton Place avec entrée et stationnement gratuits. ACP vous invite à soutenir des artistes locaux dans l’une des plus grandes expositions de la région.
Au total, 76 artistes de renommée internationale et reconnus localement présenteront leurs nouvelles œuvres et photographies.
Nouveauté cette année, l’ACP a invité des artistes à faire des démonstrations en direct pour montrer comment ils travaillent. Des démonstrations en direct de l’aquarelle sur papier ordinaire et synthétique, de l’art du batik, des techniques mixtes, des fleurs en papier, de la fabrication de tambours indigènes, du travail de l’argile argentée, des sculptures lumineuses, de la fabrication de perles de verre et de la fabrication de vitraux, se poursuivront pendant le week-end. En plus de soutenir les programmes d’art locaux, ACP soutient également les programmes d’art des deux écoles secondaires de Carleton Place en présentant leur travail et en offrant un généreux programme de bourses permettant à un diplômé de chaque école de recevoir 1800 $ pour poursuivre des études dans le domaine des arts.
L’ACP tient à remercier la Ville de Carleton Place pour son soutien continu et le Comfort Inn qui accueille les artistes venant d’ailleurs.
