A total of 88 artists took part in the categories of Visual Art, Multi-media, Digital Photography and Poetry. Several judges evaluated the artwork of youths aged 6-18 who represented many of the different schools in Carleton Place and area. Be sure to keep an eye out for the mini tour of the finalists' work taking place within Carleton Place this summer. Check out the Arts Carleton Place website at www.artscarletonplace.com for details in the next few weeks.

This inaugural youth art competition could not have been a success without the support of our sponsors. Many thanks to the Category Sponsors: Brenda MacDonald-Rowe, Century 21, Brush Strokes, Picture it Studio and Read's Book Shop.
