Arts Carleton Place cancels Gala Evening
Arts Carleton Place will be not be producing a gala fundraiser in 2011. The Board of Directors has decided that the proposed "Sights and Sounds of Downtown" event taking place on Saturday, July 30, 2011 has been cancelled.
A huge thank you goes out to the BIA, the Town of Carleton Place, to our amazing performers and volunteers and to the restaurants and businesses that supported the arts for our community! Kudos to the art patrons that attended and experienced the arts !
After five years of doing gala fundraisers, Arts Carleton Place is focusing on creating smaller fund raising opportunities and projects for the community in 2011 and will be developing new, exciting and innovative artistic programs for 2012.
