Arts Carleton Place (artscarletonplace.com)

The fifth annual Arts Carleton Place fundraiser "Sounds of Downtown" co-presented with the Carleton Place BIA, is on Saturday, September 11 on Bridge Street. The featured headliners at the Town Hall are Sheesham & Lotus. For old ragtime mountain high steppin' music, don't miss these two musicians and singers. You step back in time watching them perform traditional minstrel tunes, the flatfoot buck-dance, hambone hand-jive, playing jaw-harp, fretless and gourd banjos, harmonica, fiddle and banjo.
