Last night we held our first ever, "Sub-Committee Launch". We were delighted that so many individuals came out.

This was our chance to get those interested in volunteering their time with us out to hear about specific projects that we will be working on over the next year.

After we passed out some information booklets, everyone had a chance to introduce themselves. After the introductions, it was time for those interested in specific areas to speak up and sign up.

Some highlights of those specific projects included: our Fundraiser (hopefully in the spring or early summer) which will raise money for our Awards program. We also talked about our involvement in Human Rights Day, which will be held in March (more information will be added to the website soon).

There are still other projects on the go, so if you were unable to make it to our "Sub-Committee Launch", and are still interested in volunteering in some capacity, please let us know.
