Wow! What an amazing night. We had our Open House last night and many people came out to hear about our group. Craig Angus talked about the "Power of the Arts" and outlined our Strategic Plan for the audience. Amy Lenser-Twolan's presentation focussed on the launch of our web-site and gave a tour of our current activities and our online database. Some local artists (Victoria Jenkins, Craig Angus, Kellie Oliphant-Burns, Sherry Tompalski, and Susan Fisher) lent us pieces of their work that made for a wonderful display.

After our presentation, we invited the audience to sign-up for different areas of interest and the online artist's database while we enjoyed some delectable desserts and refreshments. Overall, the evening was a success! We discovered that the people of Carleton Place and the surrounding areas are quite interested in expressing their artistic voices. The people who came to the Open House gave us an uplifting feeling from their positive attitude and supportive response.
