Well what can I write about myself ? I could start with that I have always loved the arts, starting with music. I bought my first record when I was 8 years old, AC/DC Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap !! And due to my love of music, I learned how to play the tuba in high school and later on the drums.

My interest in photography took root in the early nineties. I can't remember what inspired me to get into photography but whatever it was I am happy it happened ! I started with an old point and shoot film camera and slowly moved on to a Canon Ae 1, which was a much older camera then my point and shoot but felt like the right thing to do, if I wanted to learn the true art of photography. So from then on I took a few night courses at Algonquin Collage and read lots of photography books and magazines. And let's not forget lots and lots of time taking pictures.

I have just recently joined forces with Dalene Gallo of www.pictureitstudio.ca , together www.thompsonartist.com will bring a unique experience in wedding photography. I don't want to get into too much detail, but all I have to say is our styles in photography are completely the opposite of each other !! In that alone brings the beauty in what Darlene and I do.
