My Name is Shari Robertson, originally an Island girl, from Prince Edward Island. My family moved to Lanark County in 2010. The small town community feel was a definite draw for us, and the artistic zest of the people who live here was what caught my attention right away!

I have been involved in the arts from a very young age. My parents always said I could make a 50 cent piece of junk into a treasure. I enjoy recycling goods and transforming them into new pieces of art.

I dabble in crafts, sewing, painting, and my new found love in photography that captures most of my spare time. My daughter is now shooting alongside me when we travel. It's so great to see her enjoy the fulfillment in taking photos.

I have done commissioned paintings from everything to the family homestead to the family pet. My photography could be defined as minimalistic, as I enjoy capturing a simple object and using the landscape around it to emphasize its natural beauty.
