I was born in the east side of Ottawa and have lived in the area most of my life. I developed my writing skills while employed with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) a branch of DND, Canada. Between 1968 and 1971, I worked at the U.S. National Security Agency in Maryland.Writing courses at Ottawa U and Carleton helped me extend my writing techniques into fiction and non-fiction areas for the past 24 years.
My first published book was a short story titled "A Bark is Worse Than a Bite." followed by "A Funny Thing Happened On My Way to Puberty".
In 2008, my fiction spy thriller titled "A Spy Too Close" was published and is now available in seven countries and on KINDLE, Amazon's wireless digital reading system.
My second fiction novel "Alliance of Terror" was published in August 2009. It was originally written in 1986 and had a startling resemblance to the infamous 9/11 disaster.
I am currently writing my third novel, "If Words Could Kill" scheduled for 2010; a short story book including 8 fiction and non-fiction stories; and a biography of Pte. WJE Ted Patrick, a veteran of WW2 who served in Italy and Holland.
