Peter's photographic images are influenced by his sense of design and shape rooted in his early training in jewellery at the Birmingham College of Art (many, many years ago) and his obsession with colour quality from years in the print trade.

His recent images show unique perspectives on landscapes. He wanders trails at 4:00 in the morning to capture the early morning colours of mists and sunrises, and watches the day's light to best capture both soft and dramatic reflections and skies that may form the backdrop or the focus of his shots.

Peter then experiments with printing his images on archival photographic paper, watercolour paper or canvas to bring out the different qualities of the colours and change the feel of the images. He finds the right frames, either modern or old "finds" he has renovated, and mounts the prints to produce individual pieces that are never duplicated.

New to Canada in 2006, Peter introduced his unique Canadian perspectives on the 2007 Crown and Pumpkin Studio Tour.
