The MBS was founded in 2001 to increase the awareness and enjoyment of blues music in Lanark County and surrounding area. The Society became incorporated in 2006 as a not-for-profit organization. Check out local blues musicians and guests at the blues jam starting at 8 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at the Thirsty Moose. The Society is involved in youth programmes through Blues in the Schools. Support live music!
