Arts Carleton Place (artscarletonplace.com)

I grew up in a large family in Ottawa and moved to Carleton Place four years ago after raising three sons. Up until then, I could paint a straight line. I would help my sister, who is a master painter, with some of her work. I still insisted that I could not paint. She saw that I had the talent for painting on glass and continually urged me to keep painting even after I threatened to quit her class after several lessons. Well, the persistence paid off and I now live and breathe paint. It allows me to be creative and see artistic views with a different eye. I start my day at 4:30 am, paining for an hour before I leave for my day job in Ottawa. I do my best painting at that time in the morning with the quiet and solitude. I am truly passionate about my painting!
