I am originally from Yorkshire, England, and my family moved to Carleton Place at the end of the Summer 2006, in between there have been numerous other countries!

At 3 years old my mother ushered me into a dance class and I have been in one class or another as a student or teacher ever since. I studied ballet, tap, modern and stage dance techniques and was fortunate enough to participate in workshops and performances with the Royal Ballet, Phoenix Dance Company and the Northern Ballet Company. After school I attended Art College where I studied textiles, costume design and performing arts. Following that I obtained a teaching degree as a dance specialist.

I have performed, designed costumes, painted sets and done make up for many productions including "Cats", "Wizard of Oz",and " Alice In Wonderland" . I have been on stage in England, Germany, Kuwait and Canada.

From the age of 18 I have been a keen amateur photographer. I recently started entering competitions and when my own family were tired of modeling for me I began taking portraits and wedding shots for friends. My photographs have been used for production posters and advertising. The pictures I take are mostly of people, and I try to capture them in a relaxed environment, usually outside.

I am the first to admit that every shoot is a learning experience for me, and I hope that while living in Carleton Place I will have many more.
