Colours clashing and blending to evolve images that create discussions and beg the viewers to interpret each piece in their own way is the hallmark of Linda Lee Blakney's works. Having always wanting to be an interior designer who plays with colours and textures seems to have driven her creativity in art.

Originally she was a devout water colourist. However, an experimental class in acrylics convinced her that mixed media was for her. Mixed media provides her with infinite possibilities to experiment with colours, textures, designs and mediums. For Linda, creating is as much about the process as the end product.
