Lilli Mayer
A member of the Arts Carleton Place Artist Database
It was evident from a very early age that Lilli was bubbling over with imagination, and unstoppable when it came to expressing herself creatively. Mediums as diverse as metal findings, modelling clay and pencil, combined with Lilli's eye for detail, have resulted in many interesting and unusual contraptions, sculptures and drawings over the years, with nature as her favourite subject.
Her interest in photography has developed from an enjoyable pastime to a full-blown passion, and she now spends countless hours outdoors, in all kinds of weather, documenting nature using both digital and film cameras.
Lilli's entry was the winner in the digital photograpy section of Arts Carleton Place's recent Expressions of Carleton Place contest at the Lambsdown Festival, her photographs have been sold at a local charity auction and her work is featured in the upcoming Open Doors "Youth Overcoming Pressure" publication.
