I consider myself to be a self-taught artist and it was certainly a gift to discover such a wonderful passion at 60 yrs of age when my retirement lifestyle needed some perking up. For many years I had enjoyed Stained Glass Painting and Tole Painting and my first attempt to paint on canvas was scary but enjoyable. I discovered, to my great surprise, that I could actually paint a landscape that had some resemblance to the original.

I am a member of the Zephyrhills Art Club, Florida, which I participate in for 6 months out of the year. Being a snow bird, I get the best of both worlds and enjoy painting scenes representing Florida and Canada.

I have dabbled in oils and watercolour through some courses taken but my main focus is acrylics. I am a realist painter and fuss over details but enjoy every minute of it.
