Gerry Madden and Andy Simpson (GASM) met in 1996. For the last ten years, they have
been writing together... a whole lot of songs (over 500!). They first started to write a musical based on ROBINSON CRUSOE, but that was abandoned in favour of what became their debut CD - a rock opera called THE FORK set in WW2 (released 2004). In 2006, the recorded a version of Gordon Lightfoot's classic song, "Canadian Railroad Trilogy," with the blessing of Lightfoot himself. They are back in the studio working on two follow-up records. WE ARE RIGHT (an opera based on a true story) and ROBINSON CRUSOE. Both albums should be available in the very near future.
