Arts Carleton Place (artscarletonplace.com)

Donna and her family enjoy country living just west of Carleton Place. She has been painting with watercolours for about 18 years. Horses have always been her main subject. She was born with a love for the animals and started drawing horses at an early age. Donna also paints lake scenes inspired from spending summers at a family cottage in the Kawarthas. Donna exhibits her paintings in gift shops and offices in the Lanark area. Some of her paintings have a western influence and this is because she lived in Alberta for a few years in the 90's. Donna was a therapeutic riding volunteer for 10 years and her art cards have been used as a fundraiser for this organization.
