I am D.C. Gardiner, I come from a family of twelve, I am married with four children - six grandchildren and I am happy to say I have two great granddaughters to. I retired fifteen years ago after approximately thirty-two years as an RNA, a councilor and an assistant supervisor. My youngest daughter is an artist and has displayed and sold her artwork at a very prestigious art show. I have one brother who is also and artist and it was when visiting him a little more than two years ago that I decided to give it a try. I went to the Dollar Store and picked up some cheap paint, brushes and canvas, that way I would not be out a lot of money if I was not able to paint. However, I thoroughly enjoyed paining and painted many pictures before seeking out some form of instruction. I paint in acrylics only. I enjoy doing landscapes, mountains, flowers, animals and sometimes people. During my early years I taught myself to crochet, knit and sew. I like to downhill ski, walk, camp and travel.
