Arts Carleton Place (artscarletonplace.com)

Art's what happens when you're not looking. I can recommend Winter courses with the Ottawa Calligraphy Society, Summer courses with Mississippi School of the Arts, Fall shows with the Mississippi Mudds and this years Victoria School Museum exhibit. My wire sculptures look good covered in ice and some of my models have stepper motors inside to make them tick. Wooden props of a Model-T Ford and a twelve foot chandelier have been constructed in my basement but similar requests received the 'evil eye'. A metal lathe would be nice but given a larger workspace I'd probably just fill it and still not be able to turn around. Some of my Celtic friends in The Barley Shakers, play the odd Wednesday Night at the Heritage Inn.
