In 2005 I discovered that I am of Mi'kmaq descent and that explained a lot to me about how I walked in this world and who I was in this world.

My medium of choice is ink and watercolour. When I draw the world around me diminishes to a fine point on the horizon and I feel like I'm listening and watching an entirely unique world unfold before me. I love the sense of immersion I feel when I'm in my colours, in my lines and in the world of my ancestors. I believe art speaks to us in individual tones, which is why someone will love what another does not. The arts are the single common thread of endurance throughout history, that have tied human beings together through imagination and creativity - I believe that creation is the flight of the soul into the arms of our spirit.
