Christina MacLachlan

Christina has lived and worked in the Carleton Place area for the past twenty two years.She studied art at the University of Toronto, where she studied watercolour and printmaking.
While living in Sudbury, Christina worked as a gallery curator and art critic for Sudbury's "Northern Life" newspaper. The rocks and rugged character of northern Ontario remains an influence in her painting.
Christina was a founding member of the artisan co-operative "Amaryllis" and taught drawing and painting to children through "Art for Kids".
She works in watercolour, pen and ink and acrylic.
Christina is currently an elementary teacher with the Upper Canada District School Board, working at Beckwith Public School.
