Hey! Stop by and say Hello!! On Saturday August 4, 2007 from 10am-4pm we will be at the Bridge Street Bazaar. Our table will be in front of Page & Turners Bookstore! Come do a children's art project, or buy your tickets for Sounds of Downtown. We hope to see you there!

The arts are not taking a break for the summer. Many events like the upcoming Sounds of Downtown and the monthly Arts Cafe are happening over the summer as well as local businesses continuing to support the local visual art community. Local businesses have graciously donated space to showcase visual art from our database. A new page entitled "Art Space" has been created to display and thank these businesses for their support.

The Carleton Place and District Community Band will be playing its now annual concert at the Strawberry Social. It will be held in the garden at the Victoria School Museum on Saturday, July 7 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. In case of rain, it will be held at St. James Parish Hall just down the street.

Tickets are available at the Museum and at Graham's Shoes for just $5.

This is an opportunity to taste the berries at their peak, hear the band, and see the museum display!
