Carleton Place & District Community Band Concert

On July 8, 2006 The Carleton Place & District Community Band will be playing a concert at the Strawberry Social. The event will be held at the Victoria School Museum, 267 Edmund Street from 1:30pm-3:00pm. The event is a fundraiser for the Victoria School Museum and tickets are $5.00. You can get tickets in advance at Graham's Shoes and at the Museum. If raining the event will be held up the street at the St. James Parish Hall. WE ARE HAVING A POTLUCK! AND YOU ARE ALL INVITED!
WHEN: Thursday July 13, 2006 starting at 6pm
WHERE: 180 Miguel St. Carleton Place
WHY: To Launch our "Sounds of Downtown" fund raiser on September 9, 2006 and to celebrate our accomplishments during our first 6 months of operation (Craig Angus will be doing a brief overview for us).
Please bring your donation of food (can be appetizer, main course, dessert etc), your own drinks (BYOB), a plate, utensils, lawn chairs, and a friend (we will be doing volunteer sign-ups for various duties for the fund raiser).
SO COME ON OUT AND HELP US CELEBRATE THE ARTS!
