Arts Carleton Place Database artists have been invited to be apart of this year's Mississippi Lakes Arts Festival - Show and Sale! The festival will feature fine arts and artistic non-functional pottery. We are very excited to be represented at another wonderful event here in Carleton Place. The Festival organizers have generously offered the use of the stage for Arts Carleton Place Database Artists.

The event is scheduled at the Carleton Place Arena upper hall and there are only two days to check out!

Friday May 5, 2006 What: Wine and Cheese Gala Art Sale Admission: $10.00 Time: 6-10pm

Saturday May 6, 2006 What: Art Sale Admission: $5.00 Time: 10am-5pm

So come out and support your local arts community and help keep arts alive in Carleton Place! All proceeds from the event will go to the Carleton Place Memorial Hospital's Auxiliary.

Make sure to stop in at Page & Turners to see work by members of our Artist Database! This month they are featuring the paintings of Shirley Sheinfield and Rivka Waas as well as the CDs and photos of the Carleton Place and District Community Band.

Lots of stuff happening with Arts Carleton Place! Be sure to read our newest "Arts Alive" article in The Canadian for information about our Student Bursary Award, our Opportunity Award, as well as our upcoming involvement in the Mississippi Lakes Fine Arts Festival on May 5 and 6.
