Hello Friends!

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a Meet and Greet for anyone interested in volunteering with our group.
We need volunteers to help us set our Strategic Plan in motion.
Please come out to the Carleton Place Library on the evening of Thursday January 12, 2006 from 7-8:30pm.
During the evening the volunteers will be able to express which area they are interested in, we will form teams, and you will have a chance to meet up with the other volunteers.
Refreshments will be served.

Thanks to all who braved the snow to come out and warm up at our first display of artworks at Page & Turners Bookstore. The display will run until February 9, 2006. This first display highlights the art of all the database artists who wanted to take part this time around.

At the evening presentation we thanked Page & Turners for their generous support, and for providing our members with a space to display their artwork. We also expressed our desire to have other businesses follow their lead.

We also gave a special thanks to Lux Photographic, who donated the signage that you will find on the wall. This signage explains who we are and what we do.

We will continue to display 3 artists from our database every 2 months. More database artists are welcome, and we hope to have other opportunities like this one around town.
